My beginnings in ceramics and sculpture have had a great influence on my work. I think most of my work exhibits one element of sculpture. Throughout my career I have experimented with a variety of art forms that continue to exert their influences on the things I do.
My experiences with photography, painting and poetry have combined to form an integral part of who I am as a jewelry designer. I work with a variety of materials, wire, felt, polymer clay and paper. What I choose for a given piece depends on the feeling I want to communicate.
I draw my inspiration from the world around me, life and nature. The pleasures of a simple life, the beauty of its smallest details, this is what inspires me.
My aim is to create jewelry that is delicate, exuberant; jewelry that harmonizes and draws out a woman’s feminity.
