A new Outpatient Dialysis Clinic is opening at 2268 N. Walgreens Street and many of you were very interested in using us a venue for your art.

If you are interested in displaying your work here please come by to look at the areas we have available. We will be here Monday-Friday of next week from 8-5.

You can call me at the number below if there is a better day or time for you. I will be happy to meet anytime. We would prefer by the end of next week, so we can be ready to open soon.

BASIS school is looking for a full time art teacher, someone who has experience in the classroom to work with grades 5-10. This position is full time with benefits and the candidate does not have to have a teaching certificate as we are a charter school.

A new, temporary art gallery is opening in December downtown and is looking for artists to sell their work. If interested, contact Mike Thompson ASAP at (928)699-2195.


The next working meeting for the ACF Gallery Mural is this WEDNESDAY, November 16 at 5:30 PM at the ACF Gallery. We still need artists to work on the mural and it is not limited to painters.

The intent is to incorporate photographs, ceramics, glass and anything that the artists can come up with that will work in a multimedia environment.

This mural IS different, so don’t be afraid to give your input and creativity to it.

AZ Centennial Artist Trading Card Project

The Arizona State Centennial Artist Trading Cards Project commences on August 15th 2011 and submissions will be accepted through January 15, 2012. (Updated)

Your work must be in the form of a trading card, 2 ½” by 3 ½ “in any medium.

These artist trading cards are original works of art, self-produced by anyone in the state of Arizona with the theme of the Arizona State Centennial. That means virtually any subject that pertains to the history and present life in Arizona, its breathtaking scenery and rich multicultural traditions.

ACF to hold two Artists’ Marketplace Events.

The Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff is proud to announce there will be two Artists’ Marketplace events this year. Last year’s Holiday Show went so smoothly and the sales were so strong that we are going to continue to hold the events at the Elks Lodge at the end of San Francisco Street.

The spring show will be on April 30th and the Holiday event will be on November 5th. There are only 25 spots for each show and they will be going quickly, so make your plans accordingly.
