Call for Artists!!
Flagstaff PAWS—Promoting Assets With Sculpture—is looking for artists to creatively paint and adorn life-sized mountain lion sculpture reproductions. Artists are needed to work with local youth to bring 40 of these mountain lions to life! Each sculpture will be decorated to represent one of the Search Institute’s Developmental Assets; positive relationships, opportunities and values that young people need in their lives to succeed (http://www.search-institute.org/developmental-assets) A $500 Honorarium and materials will be provided. CALL FOR ARTWORK:
We welcome all coalition artists to exhibit in the ACF Gallery, 13 N. San Francisco Street, #103 (between Aspen Sports and Handmade Gallery on the first floor) . This gallery is for all ACF members, non juried and you are welcome to exhibit. Let us know your ideas and suggestions! You will need to fill out an inventory sheet and sign our consignment contract,
work in the gallery First Friday night, 5:30pm-10pm or one Sat or Sun in Dec from 11am-4pm as well as provide a tray of dry snacks for the gallery on the day you work in the gallery. Craftspeople (jewelry, gift items) who just want to show their work on first Friday and the first weekend are welcome to bring their work. Call first and reserve a spot.
The ACF commission is 25% with the artist receiving 75% of the retail price upon sales of the work!
We will be offering changing exhibits each month with the exception of Jan, Feb and Mar when we will not rotate artists.
ACF Gallery is now making plans for the NEXT EXHIBIT.
