Arts strengthen and improve mental health and wellbeing. Just 45 minutes of art making can lower the stress hormone cortisol by 25%. More than half of Americans (60%) say the arts have “helped them cope during times of mental or emotional distress,” and 69% believe the arts “lift me up beyond everyday experiences.”

The Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff’s Member Gallery is a 501 (C)3 Non Profit Organization. We have fixed monthly costs and rent associated with the gallery and the continuing operation of the group. Any donation is appreciated to help defray our expenses, and helps us grow.

Arts unify our community. From local galleries to life-size wall murals, a community full of art is a community full of culture. We are proud to contribute to Flagstaff’s creative community.

Inspiring minds of ALL ages. For art to remain a significant part of our society, we must pass it along to every generation. We aim to inspire and encourage people of all ages to embrace their individual creativity and provide space to explore and grow.

We offer FREE art classes to Veterans. The arts can heal the mental, physical, and moral injuries of war for military servicemembers and Veterans—who rank the creative arts therapies in the top four (out of 40) interventions and treatments.

Arts have social impact. University of Pennsylvania researchers have demonstrated that a high concentration of the arts in a city leads to greater civic engagement, more social cohesion, higher child welfare, and lower poverty rates.
